My favorite DG solo has to be on "Willow Weep for Me" from the album "Our Man in Paris". Every track on that record is worth the price of the cd alone. The movie "Round Midnight" was a transcendental experience. I was fortunate to have seen Dex live once, in the early 80s. It was early on in the development of my musical consciousness, but not so early that I wasn't nearly overwhelmed by the richness and beauty of his musicianship and the music itself.
